The Store…The Art of Steve Johannsen offers an array of products featuring both his classic and new designs.
Steve has never quite settled down to a favorite style or media and always loved the challenges of looking at each project with new eyes. His art has drawn on influences of various artists and styles of art throughout the ages, past and present rock art poster artists and the pop culture in general which surrounds our lives. He has grown from hands-on traditional art into digital creations.
His greatest love has always been doing the music inspired images to go with the sounds in his world. Johannsen has designed posters, shirts, CDs and other merchandise for the Dead, Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh & Friends, Ratdog, Gov’t Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam, Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, Rose Hill Drive and more.
